A four-part Italian conversation workshop about four extraordinary Italian minds.


Discover the stories, ideas and achievements of Galileo Galilei, Leonardo da Vinci, Rita Levi-Montalcini and Alessandro Volta while practising your Italian in a relaxed and engaging environment.

The price covers the 4 dedicated sessions and includes resources to support a deeper understanding of the text. 

The workshop will be presented in Italian by a native Italian-speaking engineer, who will guide you through these fascinating stories while helping you develop your listening and speaking skills.

This workshop helps learners improve their Italian by focusing on prepositions, an essential part of using the language correctly. Throughout the course, participants work on understanding how prepositions are used and gain more confidence in applying them in everyday situations. 

The price covers the 3 dedicated sessions and includes resources to support a deeper understanding of the text. 

The lessons are structured to support clear understanding and practical use of the language, combining explanation with guided practice. There is also space to review and reinforce what has been covered, helping learners build confidence at their own pace.

This workshop is also an opportunity to experience a cultural event entirely in Italian, with the language and content carefully adapted for Italian learners. You can discover fascinating stories and ideas while following the presentation at your own level, without needing to be a native speaker. It is a chance to learn, listen and take part in Italian culture while using Italian in a real and meaningful context.

This workshop is in Italian and is designed for people who are learning Italian
and are at Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2), or Advanced (C1–C2) level.

Before each session, you will have access to short exercises to help you familiarise yourself with the topic and key vocabulary, making it easier to follow and participate in the discussion.

2. A presentation and storytelling section

Learn about their life, background, ideas, discoveries, inventions and most important achievements.

3. Interactive speaking activities 

Discuss the topic, share your opinions and practise useful vocabulary and expressions in Italian.

What do I have to do before the session?

Before each session, you will have access to a few short preparation activities related to the topic and the person we will explore. These activities will help you become familiar with some key vocabulary, ideas and background information before the session. You don’t need to study extensively! The aim is simply to give you some context and help you feel more confident when listening to the presentation and taking part in the speaking activities.
