This course is for those who are starting to learn Italian language from scratch.

By the end of this course you will be able to communicate in Italian using basic sentence’s structure.
You will know how to present yourself, how to interact at the coffee shop, restaurant, market, information office, ask for information or directions and talk about your daily routines.

You will gain a strong foundation in the language, learning to navigate common topics and real-life contexts with confidence.

You will create a general basic comprehension and communication skills by learning basic grammar, dialogues, and cultural aspects.

Unit 1
Presentations

Greeting someone, spelling your name, exchanging personal information such as nationality and city of residence.

Unit 2
Getting to know someone

Asking and answering main information such as work, age, providing telephone numbers and email. Talking about your main passions.

Unit 3
Ordering and eating

Ordering at the coffee shop and at the restaurant, booking a table, paying, describing food, understanding the food's cultural aspects, saying what you like and what you don’t like.

Unit 4
Everyday life

Describing your habits, saying what you like to do and what you don’t like to do, talking about free time activities.

Unit 5
The city

Asking for directions, describing a city, expressing what there is, what to do and see.

Unit 6
The ideal holiday

Speaking about your past holiday, explaining what you have done, seen, liked and disliked.

Unit 7
To travel

Speaking about the weather, your holiday plan and nice Italian destinations.

Unit 8
The family

Describing family, relatives, pets and past life experiences with them.

Unit 9
At the market

Buying a product, talking about quantities and foodstuffs, recognising different types of products.

Unit 10
At the information office

Booking a visit to a museum, understanding a brochure, talking about time.
