Courses, Pricing & Policies

Which type of courses do you offer?

We offer a variety of courses designed to support different learning goals and language levels:

  • Standard Courses focus on grammar, vocabulary, and everyday expressions while developing all four language skills: listening, writing, speaking, and reading ($220 for 5 lessons over 5 weeks).

  • Conversation Courses focus mainly on speaking and listening skills. We understand that many students may feel nervous or uncomfortable speaking because of their level, so our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable participating without fear of judgement ($220 for 5 lessons over 5 weeks).

  • Combined Courses include 2 courses chosen by the student: 1 Standard Course and 1 Conversation Course, offered at a discounted price. This option is perfect for students who want to improve their Italian skills in a more complete and balanced way ($370 for 10 lessons over 5 weeks instead of $440).

  • Private Lessons are personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to the student’s goals, interests, schedule, and learning pace ($80 per lesson / $400 for 5 lessons).

  • Exam Preparation Courses for IB & HSC Italian and CELI Italian language certification exams.

  • Workshops focused on Italian culture, conversation, reading, pronunciation, and other themed activities throughout the year.

What are the advantages of learning Italian with our program?

Our program offers a communicative and interactive approach to learning Italian, with highly qualified native teachers, up-to-date teaching materials, and a professional yet relaxed learning environment where students can feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to learn.

We place a strong focus on personalisation, adapting lessons and activities to the needs, goals, and learning style of each student whenever possible. Our small class sizes also allow for more individual attention and meaningful interaction, helping students build confidence and improve their Italian in a natural and engaging way.

What are the class times and duration?

Classes are scheduled across different time slots to accommodate the needs of our students. If our timetable does not match your schedule, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to find a solution together that best suits your needs.

Our Standard and Conversation Courses typically run for 90 minutes per lesson, while Private Lessons are usually 1 hour long unless the student requests additional time.

The duration of Workshops may vary depending on the topic and activities covered during the session.

What are the course costs and payment methods accepted?

Our group courses cost $220 for 5 lessons, excluding the Combined Course special offer, which includes 10 lessons over 5 weeks for $370.

Private Lessons are priced at $80 per hour and are usually sold as a package of 5 lessons ($400 per package). However, newcomers also have the option to purchase a single lesson before committing to a package.

Please note that Workshop prices may vary depending on the duration, topic, and content covered.

For your convenience, we accept payments by credit card and PayPal.

Do we offer courses customised to the specific needs of students?

Yes, we offer Private Lessons and specialised programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each student. We also provide preparation courses for various certification exams, including HSC, IB, CELI, and others upon request.

Our lessons can be adapted to different learning goals, such as exam preparation, conversation practice, grammar revision, travel, work, or academic purposes.

Please note that while we provide comprehensive preparation for these exams, we do not administer the certification exams themselves.

What are the average class sizes?

Class sizes vary depending on the type of course, but we intentionally keep them small to provide personalised attention and encourage effective interaction among students.

Our group classes typically have no more than 8 students, helping to create a supportive, engaging, and comfortable learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to participate actively.

Can you switch between different course levels during your learning journey?

Yes, you can move from one course level to another during your learning journey.

If the level you choose feels too easy or too advanced, we will do our best to help you move to a more suitable level based on your needs, preferences, and the teacher’s recommendations.

Our goal is to ensure that every student feels appropriately challenged and supported throughout their learning experience, allowing them to progress with confidence and maximise their success in learning Italian.

Do you need to buy a textbook or other materials?

No, you do not need to purchase a textbook or additional materials.

All learning resources are created and designed by a qualified native Italian teacher according to the type of course, the students involved, their goals, and their personal interests. While each course follows a structured program, the content and activities may vary depending on students’ requests, learning needs, and the teacher’s recommendations based on the class level and progress.

Our goal is to provide engaging, personalised, and up-to-date materials that make learning Italian both effective and enjoyable.

What if you cannot attend a lesson or class?

Students who cancel within 48 hours of their scheduled lesson will be charged for the session.

Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability and timetable arrangements.

If a lesson period falls during holidays or scheduled breaks, the lesson package can be paused and resumed afterwards to ensure students do not lose their remaining sessions.

Online and In-Person Courses

Online and In-Person Courses

Do we offer online teaching options for students who cannot attend in person?

Yes, we offer online courses for students who cannot attend in-person classes. Our online lessons provide the same quality of teaching, interaction, and support as our face-to-face classes, allowing students to learn Italian comfortably from home or any location with a stable internet connection.

What are the differences between online and in-person courses?

The main difference between online and in-person courses is the way students attend the lessons.

Online courses offer the flexibility and convenience of learning from home or any other location with internet access.

In-person courses take place in a physical classroom conveniently located near public transport options such as train stations and bus stops.

Both learning formats provide similar activities and learning outcomes, adapted to the teaching mode, and both offer opportunities to interact with other students, participate in class activities, and practise Italian in a supportive environment.

Do students who choose online courses have access to the same learning materials as in-person students?

Yes, students participating in online courses have access to the same learning materials and teaching resources as students attending in person.

How does the enrolment process work?

To enrol in Private Lessons, you first need to complete a form with your personal information, learning objectives, interests, and availability. This helps our team better understand your needs and start designing a personalised learning plan for you.

You will then be contacted within 48 hours to discuss your goals together and organise the structure of your lessons. After the consultation, you will receive a link to your personalised student page and a payment link to complete your enrolment.

Once the process is completed, you will be ready to start your first private lesson tailored to your individual goals and learning needs.

Can we organise private lessons for a small group of people with the same objectives?

Yes, we can. When completing the enrolment form, you will be asked whether you are enquiring only for yourself or for a group.

If you are enrolling as a group, you will also be asked to specify the number of participants and provide a group/contact name, which should be the same for all members. This allows us to better organise lessons and create a program suited to the group’s shared objectives and language level.

Can you request your tutor to focus on specific topics or themes?

Yes, absolutely. Private Lessons are designed to help you achieve your personal goals through a highly personalised learning experience.

You can request specific focuses, themes, or areas of interest such as conversation, grammar, travel, business Italian, exam preparation, culture, pronunciation, writing, or academic support. Your tutor will guide you in identifying the most effective approach and activities to help you reach your objectives in the most suitable and engaging way possible.
